The Basics of Microdosing

There has been a great deal of buzz lately in the media and in daily conversations about microdosing as a potential tool for better mental health and access to increased creativity and problem-solving abilities. As a coach and consultant for The Third Wave – a major non-profit organization which promotes psychedelic literacy – I’ve conducted over 100 sessions guiding individuals in the practice and science of microdosing.

In this presentation, I’ll briefly outline the science and history of microdosing, the basics of how to microdose safely and effectively and the potential benefits as well as the caveats and risks. I’ll provide information and resources for further research as well as access to coaching and support. This presentation lasts around 2 hours which includes a 30- minute Q&A session. This presentation is suitable for corporate groups, alternative healthcare providers and any other group interested in consciousness and alternative forms of mental health.

Empowered Conversations for Parents and Guardians

We all know our children may be exposed to psychedelic substances at some point in high school or college. Research around the heavily funded abstinence campaigns such as D.A.R.E clearly showed that those programs did not stop teens and young adults from using drugs.yet as parents, we know that the ‘drug’ conversation still needs to be had.

Most of us would rather have our children be able to talk with us about their experiences or curiosities so that we can help them to have a better experience or even choose to wait.

In this presentation, I’ll cover information on psychedelic substances young people may encounter, safer practices, harm reduction, holistic recovery techniques, interactions and effects, and which substances are better avoided altogether and why. I’ll also talk about some ways to talk to the young people who trust us about how to make sense of their experiences and successfully integrate back into everyday life.

It is important to reiterate that this presentation is not to encourage or promote the use of illicit drugs, but to empower and equip parents and guardians with knowledge. I will also provide access to additional resources and a 4-week course on this subject as well as individual coaching at a discounted price for those who wish to dive deeper into this subject.

This basic session lasts around 1.5 hours with 30 minutes for Q&A.
